THIRD PARTYCURRENT
Publication standards

Editorial policy

The publication exists to improve consequential market decisions. Providers, sponsors, and commonly owned companies cannot purchase facts, inclusion, comparison conclusions, or correction outcomes.

Reporting standard

Every story names the underlying source class and distinguishes what the source establishes from provider-reported claims and Third Party Current analysis. Headlines and decks must not outrun the evidence.

Comparisons

Comparisons identify conditional fit, market position, documented differences, evidence limits, and questions for deeper evaluation. The publication does not manufacture a best overall company when buyer contexts differ.

Commercial separation

Paid distribution, sponsorship, events, and clearly labeled commercial programs remain separate from editorial ranking, company inclusion, research samples, findings, and corrections.

Common ownership

If the parent company later builds a product, the relationship will be disclosed adjacent to relevant coverage. A commonly owned product will not receive an undisclosed or purchased editorial advantage.

Use of automation

Automation may monitor sources, detect changes, normalize records, and prepare internal drafts. A human editor remains responsible for materiality, factual integrity, sourcing, context, and publication.

Persistent standard

This policy is part of the publication's operating charter and applies to reporting, company records, comparisons, research, sponsored programs, and future commonly owned products.
