Sponsorship policy

Sponsors may fund clearly labeled distribution and access to an audience. They may not purchase editorial judgment, factual treatment, market inclusion, or the suppression of accurate information.

Permitted programs

Newsletter sponsorships, events, webinars, clearly labeled sponsored interviews, research distribution, and featured visibility may be sold when the commercial nature is obvious to a reasonable reader.

Prohibited influence

Payment cannot change a company profile, capability record, category placement, comparison conclusion, research population, finding, correction priority, or the presence of a competitor.

Provider corrections

Every company may claim its factual record, submit documentation, request review, and correct supported inaccuracies without payment.

Sponsored research

A sponsor may fund access or distribution but may not rewrite findings or suppress limitations. The sponsor, role, method, and editorial control must be disclosed on the report.

Persistent standard

This policy is part of the publication's operating charter and applies to reporting, company records, comparisons, research, sponsored programs, and future commonly owned products.
