Regulators and standards bodies establish obligations and public guidance. Official company documentation establishes what a provider publishes about itself. Direct confirmation can clarify a record. Independent testing can establish observed behavior. Reputable secondary reporting can add context but does not silently replace a primary source.
Company inclusion
A company enters the maintained sample when an approved official source supports a direct third-party risk use case. Inclusion is not endorsement, and the sample is not claimed to be the complete global market.
Capability evidence
A documented capability means an approved source supports relevant positioning. Missing evidence remains not established. It is not converted into feature absent, and a documented capability is not treated as independently verified depth or performance.
News and change records
A material event must have a dated source, a factual summary, evidence classification, market consequence, and editorial approval. Automated monitoring can propose a change but cannot publish one without review.
Corrections and history
A supported factual correction is free. Material changes preserve the prior value, source, date, and affected pages so the market record does not lose its history.
Persistent standard
This policy is part of the publication's operating charter and applies to reporting, company records, comparisons, research, sponsored programs, and future commonly owned products.
